An ideally situated base for exploring the beautiful woods, historic market towns and picturesque villages that combine to create the magical Forest of Dean. Alternatively, just sit back, relax and soak up the glorious view, peace and tranquillity right on the doorstep! Family attractions and activities abound, including craft centres, gardens, museums, historic villages and steam train rides. "An excellent, tranquil site. You have the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere yet the nearest town is only a mile and a half away with good roads right up to the site entrance. It is all brand new so everything is in excellent condition and the fittings and furniture in the lodge were the best we have seen and stayed in. The lodge was like a boutique hotel, in perfect surroundings and the hot tub was brilliant to slip into after a day of forest walks. We will definitely return."
