"First time we have stayed here. And it is such a beautiful place to stay. So quiet and relaxing. Andy is so helpful. Nothing is to much trouble. The log burner was so relaxing. I did end up sleeping a lot on Sunday with the log burner on. Our log cabin. Was lovely. Everything was amazing. Lovely and clean. We had some great walk. I’m in a wheelchair and it is wheelchair accessible which was an added bonus. My husband did some fishing and caught some really good sized fish Will definitely be back. Lauren and Martin"

"We was due to stay in a lodge at Westfield country park. However we arrived on the evening to be told that our booking had been cancelled and we had no lodge to stay in. We were extremely shocked and disappointed as we were not aware it had been cancelled otherwise we would not have turned up if notified. We were due to stay here for 10 nights and had been told we could not be accommodated for at all. The staff who worked there was extremely unhelpful and unsympathetic as it was nothing that he could do as it was out of his hands yet had cancelled our booking and had new customers in the lodge where we should have been staying. He was extremely rude to us as we tried to remain calm despite the situation we was now in. We had paid a lot of money for our stay here as it is not cheap and therefore if we weren’t able to stay there then we would like a refund. The staff member continued to speak to us horribly as if it was we were to blame and refused to give us our money back as it is an awful lot to lose. We were so disappointed with the customer service that we received as the staff did not think to contact us when our booking was cancelled so we had travelled around 2 hours to get there unaware we would not be staying there. Luckily we paid for this stay through PayPal and managed to raise the issue with them and we’re able to get a full refund. I am absolutely appalled with this and felt like we were treated disgustingly and the staff wasn’t bothered as it wasn’t his problem that we now had no where to stay."

"Welcomed as soon as we arrived although we were early. Our particular lodge was generous in size(6 people) , we required space. Very very clean , neat and tidy. Sugar, tea, coffee and milk provided for that "must have cuppa" as soon as you arrive anywhere. Washing up liquid, dish washer tablets and washing powder were found under the kitchen sink. Can not emphasize how clean and immaculate our lodge was. Thank you to housekeeping staff for making our 4 day fishing trip memorable and enjoyable. John & Carol"

"On first glance, the cabin (Hawthorn 17) looks lovely, but it is unloved and under equipped. All the external doors are tricky to lock and unlock, and the smaller bedroom external door jammed completely, causing a risk is there was a fire. There were too few of everything in the kitchen - one teaspoon, three mugs and three bowls etc. Cobwebs in the bedrooms and the hot tub was full of grit and had a sheen of dirty water. I think the water levels were too low, but no hose to fill it up. The laminate in the living from was badly scuffed and was lifting, causing a trip hazard. It was a lot of money to stay in a so so cabin. The site itself is pleasant and quiet, and the spotted duck tea room is lovely., bit ptjerwise save some money and go to a Haven"

"Me and my partner went for a 3 night stay, we really love the place! Love just getting away in the country side and just disconnecting. The site manager goes above and beyond very helpful and very nice guy. Loved just relaxing in the hottub when it was sunset. A really nice cabin and was really good having a dishwasher and washer machine 👍. Will be coming back again soon definitely, thanks for our lovely break Westfield 😊"

"We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Westfield Lakeland Lodges. If you are looking for a holiday to relax and chill out then this is the place to go. With a fishing lake full of carp, bream, tench, roach and barble, (yes barble), and a restaurant which serves the best sirloin steak I have every tasted, then this place is for you. We are returning next year and cannot wait!! Thanks again to all staff on site who were very helpful and friendly."
