Nestling in a 29 acre oak wood with beautiful woodland and valley scenery you can relax and watch the enchanting wildlife or simply unwind in your own hot tub whilst enjoying the glorious unspoilt views of Nidderdale - an ’Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Springwood Lodges is a small select group of Scandinavian lodges exclusively for couples, offering every comfort and creating a unique retreat for romantic breaks, special celebrations and a wonderful year round luxury escape. Countryside walks are on your doorstep and you are ideally located for exploring the wide variety of Yorkshire Dales villages and attractions. Historic York or sophisticated Leeds are within an hour’s drive. Local villages offer excellent amenities and a good choice of restaurants and inns. It's the perfect base to explore Harrogate and the wider area of Yorkshire Dales.

"All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay the hot tub and sauna were so relaxing, the choice of DVDs and games were very good also. There’s plenty of things to do in the area as well The only things we noticed were; - the spiders in every room (there were about 3 in our bedroom which if you don’t like them is not very comfortable) - the smell of the cabin in general wasn’t very nice - the oven seemed as though it was not cleaned very well as our food we had made in there didn’t taste very nice (there is a very nice pizza shop about 10 mins away luckily) - some of the jets in the hot tub were missing/not working. maybe we are just picky but they bothered us a lot causing us to leave a night early! But we did enjoy the peace and seeing the birds and squirrels come and go, we spend most of our days out in the local area going on walks and exploring which was lovely."
"This was one of the most relaxing places we have ever been to. If you like wildlife, hot tubs and pure relaxation then this place is perfect for you. The lodge was beautiful as were the surroundings, we watched the birds come and go all day, we relaxed in the hot tub and sauna and felt completely relaxed, we will be returning 😁."
"Perfect Lodges in the wood. Beautiful place. Definitely worth the price. Me an my partner loved it. Also alot to see around the area. Studly Royal deer Park was a 20 min drive away. Highly recommended 😊"
"A fantastic place to relax, everything catered for private drive way, private hot tub and sauna built into the lodge very cosy away from it all. Surrounded by secluded woods and forest great for walks. Then lots of quaint little villages and towns. Driving in and around the area is a must just for the scenery alone."
"WONDERFUL ... I loved my stay here over Christmas so much that I've booked it again for 2018 .. Peaceful. Quite ... Just wonderful.... Here again Christmas 2018. If you want peace and quite this place is perfect for you. Been here a week and seen no one just birds a woodpecker. Squirrel.. I love this place hot tub sauna.."
"Fantastic place for a relaxing break away. Hot tub and Sauna provided in lodge were great. Never came into contact with any owners or maintenance people our whole stay - the place is perfectly run as you feel looked after without it being intrusive - a perfect haven to relax in."
