"Just back from what has become our annual visit here. Love this place. We stayed in the Barn Room with our dog. Karen knows exactly how to look after guests- everything you could possibly need - or have forgotten- is there, including a fridge, glasses, corkscrew, homemade lemon drizzle cake, shortbread, kettle, huge selection of teas and coffee.There is a feel of a holiday cottage rather than a BnB as the accommodation is separate from the main house. In the evenings you can sit out on your own private decking having a drink in the sun and watching the chickens. Then there are the breakfasts - unbelievably good, with such a huge range of chase I'd really like to stay longer and work my way through everything - look at the photos on the website! Just wonderful."

"We have been to stay with Karen five times now. Everything, every little detail is so planned to deliver the most comfortable stay. From a welcome cake in your room (don't be embarrassed to either eat it all, or take the leftovers!), to the amazingly comfortable bed, the huge tub and shower with gorgeous locally made toiletries. The breakfasts are incredible, everything locally sourced or home made and to the highest quality, and so tasty that you'd wish you could eat more! The setting is beautiful with breakfast views over the gardens and hills beyond, and the area is great for walking (to work off your breakfast!)."

"Warm, friendly first class B & B, wonderful rooms with lots of thoughtful extras. Karen goes the extra mile to make sure her guests have a wonderful stay, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfasts are to die for, that is if you can manage to get out of the extremely comfortable beds in time! Great location with some interesting places to visit within a few miles, history, walking, trains, food so much to see and do so a marvelous place for a break. Lots of great restaurants for evening meals before you go back to settle into your comfortable room for a good nights sleep. Comes well recommended on all counts, comfort, food, ambiance, location and friendliness."
