"Pool View Lodge was one of the best places we've stayed in the UK. The Lodge has everything you need and the hot tub was cleaned daily. The road is steep to drive up and down but the views from the site and the lodge itself are well worth it. This is a great rural location for a getaway and fantastic for stargazing on a clear night! "We have stayed in over twelve lodges in the UK but this one is so much better than any of the others .It’s brilliantly owned and run by the owners by Holly and Paul who are always available and friendly. We stayed before on the first day that Wales opened after Covid and on our return the lodge was just in the same condition as last time. It’s a small perfect site up an interesting lane ! It’s peaceful and the lodge has just everything you want for a perfect holiday. The hot tub is superb. We will return when we came . We just wish both Holly and Paul success as you really deserve it . Thank You Jo and Geoff"

"Stayed in the Slate House Lodge, which is the small lodge in the middle which is really nice and well equipped. Only downside is that it is in the middle of nowhere, 10/20 minutes from a town or decent shop and the access road is single track and very steep. In bad weather this could be tricky for smaller cars."
"Lovely spacious lodge in beautiful and peaceful surroundings with everything we could need (the hosts thought of everything). It was a great base for mid wales. We did an awful lot of driving to get to things but we knew this before we went. The train station is really close so we used this a couple of times to get to the coast. My 4 year old loved a couple of hot tub dips most days and spotting bunnies in the evenings. We all had a lovely time thank you."
