The Georgian towns of Whitehaven and Cockermouth are within easy driving distance, the Lake District National Park is 6 miles away and Muncaster Castle and the Ravenglass-Eskdale Miniature Railway are 14 miles away. The award winning village of St Bees has an 11th century priory and a general store and indoor swimming pools are at the nearby towns of Egremont and Whitehaven. Situated right next to the sea and the beautiful St Bees beach and surrounded by the dramatic rolling Cumbrian countryside, Seacote Park is the ideal place for an away from it all holiday. The sea cliffs are home to an RSPB bird reserve and the start of Wainwright’s Coast to Coast walk. There is a beach shop and café adjacent to the park and nearby there is a 9 hole golf course. It's the perfect base to explore St Bees and the wider area of Cumbria & The Lakes.

"Ideal holiday for a young family with a pet, cheap but still high standard accommodation and an hours drive from all the main places in the lakes. Very close to a clean, dog friendly sandy beach with rock pools for the children to explore. Not really that much in St Bees but White Haven is 10 mins drive and has supermarkets etc. The miniature steam railway and Ullswater steamer well worth a trip (and dogs are allowed on both) also Beatrix potter experience is great for young children about an hour to an hour and a half drive but worth it, and the town around it is very pretty."
