"Amazing site, very large pitches, Nature walks very nice, toilets and shower blocks always clean and tidy lots of hot water, no silly buttons to keep pressing in the showers, lakes and surrounding area are well maintained and great just to have a walk around or sit and watch the world go by. Very quiet overnight."

"We, as a family vist Blacklands regularly each year and have a great time, good facilities and plenty of things for the grandchildren to do, BUT, this time we were all really disappointed with the whole experience. The toilet and shower blocks were dirty and not cleaned, to the extent that one cubicle I personally went into had No toilet roll in it from 10am until 5pm and also soiled tissue on the floor along with other rubbish including tin cans , then when I actually went to reception and complained, only to be told that "the boys were supposed to check them" but obviously didn't. We were not the only people to make complaints as we have spoken to lots of other people on the site. The pitches we were on had a constant sewer smell everytime someone ran any type of tap. Considering the prices they are charging the service is rapidly dwindling away. We will unlikely return to Blacklands."

"Beautiful camping site. Lovely view depending on pitch. Fishing lake with fountain plenty of stock but never fished myself. Cars with tents, tent boxes, caravans, campers, and motorhomes all welcome. Plenty of room. Can get busy. Very helpful staff, reasonably stocked shop as well, carrying all the essentials, tea, coffee, sugar, toilet rolls etc. Approximately 1.5 miles from Calne town centre. Where there are a plethora of shops takeaway, supermarkets, charity shops etc. Also quarter mile away from Atwell Wilson motor museum. There is also a swimming pool and fitness centre on site not sure if you need to be a member."

"The campsite was great. All facilities up to standard. A great place for children to explore nature. Sadly the fishing was very very poor, one lake out of action because of inactivity but the other was just as bad. Many including myself toiled all day for minimal or no results. No sign of any carp whatsoever and people were commenting about that. Perhaps there's a problem?"

"This is a campsite for tourers tents campervans. Some seasonal pitches. Groups welcome. Large pitches. Electric / non electric pitches. Motor home service point. Fishing 🎣 lakes. On site bar area. Bbq area, food available on site. Small shop. Wheelchair accessible ♿️ child friendly. Campfires allowed. Dog friendly. Farm animals. Wildlife. Toilets and showers grubby, not cleaned, just had bins changed and loo roll topped up.."
