"Great location and friendly staff! We had a boiler problem and was sorted within 10 mins. Only issues were that as we entered the lodge the bathroom floor was soaking wet, the fire didn’t work, the wine cooler didn’t work, didn’t come with robes as booking stated for the hot tub, outdoor lights didn’t work, sofas had stains all over them and there was a hole in the bathroom wall. Apart from all this me and my friends really enjoyed ourselves going for walks in the woods and the shop was super convenient!"

"Lovely place to come and stay, had peaceful week away with my partner. Our caravan was in a perfect stop, nice and private as we had a hot tub. The caravan was clean, little things could do with a change ie the curtains were quite dirty in the main bedroom. Had everything we needed for a week in terms of utensils/pans in the kitchen. The caravan had built in surround sound system so that was fun to use while relaxing in the hot tub. Would definitely come back again for another stay."

"Had such a lovely stay at Brokerswood this week (Maple Tree Lodges) the lodge was clean and had everything you needed, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave/oven, crockery, etc. on arrival a little kit was left with tea, coffee and milk pots so we could have a cup of tea as soon as we arrived as well as a little guide of local places to eat and get a food shop. Our lodge had a hot tub which was lovely and they regularly maintained it during our stay. The staff we encountered prior to and during our stay were great. A lovely calm location and brilliant for visiting other areas, we went to Frome, Bristol, Bath, Longleat & the Haynes Motor Museum during our stay. There were also some coloured walking routes which were helpful and a beautiful lake. My only criticism is of the mattress in the main bedroom which honestly was not very comfortable but we made do but as we were there for a week it wasn’t ideal. Otherwise I would absolutely recommend Brokerswood."

"Lovely quiet location. Friendly staff on arrival. We were told it was one of those stupid app keys but thankfully it was a physical key. Very nice inside with good WiFi and modern decor. Unlike other hoseason sites we've tried we were able to control the heating easily. Needs things to do onsite so do expect to entertain yourself off-site. We did request and was told we'd be allocated a unit with bath but upon arrival it was two showers. Was visited every day by a lovely cat, so whoever stays at 1 Lakeview give it a cuddle and milk 🙂"

"3 bedroom lodge was very clean and plenty of room for us. Minor problems were, sink plug in ensuite not working, family bathroom toilet not flushing properly. The furniture needs a clean and bedside lampshade is tatty. Very helpful staff, quiet site 🙂"
