"Our recent stay at Highfield Grange Holiday Park, Caravan 715, was far from the peaceful retreat we anticipated. Basic amenities were sorely lacking—breakfast items were constantly out of stock, and there was no coffee some mornings, forcing us to go offsite for meals at a hefty extra cost. We paid for internet, but it never worked, and customer support was unresponsive. Security was another serious issue. Strangers managed to access the park and repeatedly tampered with our caravan’s electricity. After this incident, we discovered all the dust caps had been stolen off our car, and one tire had dangerously low pressure. Despite security’s promise to check on us, no one followed up. The caravan’s condition was poor, with visible mold in the bathroom and bedroom, and an uncleaned ventilation system that circulated musty air. There was a lingering smoke odor in the caravan, impacting guests with asthma, and a pervasive cannabis smell around the resort, which was completely inappropriate for a family-friendly space. Given these issues, we expected Parkdean Resorts to provide better service, security, and cleanliness. I would not recommend Highfield Grange to others."

"Ricky and Louie are amazing! Always make an effort with the kids. Entertainment every night is amazing especially the girls singing & dancing shoes (Nashville nights, abba) we recently bought a caravan on site not for the actual site but because the troupers have been amazing every time we’ve come. The wrestling is also amazing my kids love it!"

"We recently stayed at Parkdean Resorts Highfield Grange, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special mention goes to Danny at the Boathouse, who made our dining experience truly enjoyable. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The activities at the resort were amazing! We took full advantage of the swimming pool, which was perfect for the whole family. In the evenings, the kids' shows were a huge hit with our little ones—they absolutely loved the entertainment and couldn't stop talking about it! Overall, Highfield Grange offers a fantastic family-friendly environment with plenty to do for all ages. Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing getaway."

"Caravan 701...booking Williams plus dog.. Cleaned nicely and Ready early for us. Situated under a tree with lots of shade for the dog. Acorn season provided entertainment with a plop noise as it landed on the van however for us, it was part of a quirky experience and we were not bothered. We did order from the boat house on arrival and rather enjoyed the meal. We did use the pool and had no issues with it and even enjoyed the slide. Having the outside open on a warm day even in September was a bonus. The entertainment... to be honest we only went for the bingo (two adults) but this was all fine. The site itself was well maintained and location wise only a short drive to clacton and Holland on Sea as well as supermarkets. For dog owners note there is a country park almost opposite the site which we discovered near the end of the holidays. Maybe I'm biased because I've been to many of the Park Dean sites over the years but I liked this as a quiet park. For us, we were straight on to booking another caravan holiday but this time closer to home in Norfolk. No bad review from us."

"We have been to Highfield Grange a few times now and it has been amazing every time. The accommodation we have been given is very close to the entertainment, it is a modern caravan and has been cleaned thoroughly on arrival. I had to make a phone call for extra duvet covers but a member of housekeeping was at my caravan with spare bedding within half an hour. We have stayed during "tots break" and it has been an amazing value for money. The entertainment has been fantastic, although on booking the site they had no spaces left for the free activities, we was able to attend a couple due to a couple of people not attending. The entertainment has been fantastic throughout the day and the troopers have been amazing, kind and extremely helpful. The food in the boathouse has been lovely, and is very reasonably priced- and bonus points, during tots break, kids eat free with a main meal purchased! Thank-you for everything again Highfield Grange. We hope to be back soon"
