Reviews
"Had a wonderful time, friendly staff, close to Ayr, even a nice running route out the park and into Ayr. Will definitely be back."
"I lived in one of the workie caravans as they called it for 7 weeks I paid £200 up front to Lewis then £100 a week on a weekly basis never missing a payment then about 4 weeks ago the roof started to leak I reported it on several occasions to be told it had been fixed which it hadn't as I had to leave a pot on the floor to catch the water I also reported blocked drains at 9am on a Saturday morning I got a return call at 1.30 pm to say it wouldn't be fixed till the Monday afternoon so I had to make alternative living arrangements elsewhere for the weekend and when I asked for a rebate I was told I should have reported it sooner ( not my fault there staff do not pass messages on ) also after the drains were unblocked the smell was terrible in the caravan also toilet in bedroom was leaking and water was leaking under caravan all this was reported on several occasions I had no option but to leave the caravan as there maintenance is absolutely shocking and even there close relatives who also live on site told me the owners are shocking at running the place ( absolute balloon) was the phrase used by there relatives they also kept my deposit saying I wasn't due any deposit back as the £200 I paid up front wasn't a deposit as such so please be aware before you book to stay on this site and make sure you get a receipt for every payment you make as I was meeting Lewis on several occasions and he just put my payment of £100 rent straight into his pocket"
"Great location, 5 minutes from shops and beach. Quiet setting, appears to be a residential park too so take that in to consideration. Lovely views. Lodges are clean. Only downside for me is that you need to use steps to get in and out of the hot tub, my mobility isn't great some days so I'm hoping they get some sunken tubs! We'll definitely be back"
"We stayed here for 3 nights, it was good but far from perfect. Maintenance and service was definitely lacking, but the lodge was very spacious, clean and comfortable. For the price, you don't get much in the way of towels, hand soap, kitchen paper or toilet rolls and quite a few things broken in the lodge. However it did have a washing machine, smart TV and dvd player but remotes didn't work, had to buy batteries. And many lightbulbs were out. The hot tub lights didn't work, blinds broken, etc. The toilet seat kept falling off as it was too big for the toilet, if you sat on it it would pop up and come loose and we all near fell on the floor a few times.... On the last day they came to clean the hot tub at 7am before we left, they left the back gate open and our dogs got out, the water was left draining all over the decking so our dogs couldn't get outside on the last morning. And the worst thing probably was that check out is 9am, usually you would get until 9.30 or 10 elsewhere but not here. There was no guest handbook either, no emergency numbers, no fire safety instructions, no map of the park, nothing! Maintenance and service could definitely be improved!"
"Stayed here for a week with my family and 2 dogs perfect location to enjoy some great views and watch the sunset go down form the hotub! Great customer service, we arrived slightly early and they were very keen on helping us get into our lodge asap. A great location with Ayr only being about a 10 min drive away. The lodge was very clean when we arrived and had all the utensils for cooking and even had washing up liquid, bin bags, sponge, dishwasher tablets and washing powder. The decking area was spacious with table and chairs and the hotub was checked everyday. There is parking outside for 2/3 cars. A nature trail at the back perfect to take the dogs for a walk. Also had a children’s play park and mini football/ basketball court at the bottom near reception."
"A nice, clean park just outside Ayr with open countryside all around and easy access to the bypass and all local food and retail outlets. Very nice, clean static caravans with all mod cons, a small shop on site stocking the essentials and a large Tesco just 5 minutes away in Ayr. There is a small childrens play area and security gates at the entrance to the park, accessible by a card swipe which is obtained from reception on arrival. Overall a good park and I would recommend it."
