"5/5 cannot complain. The site, staff, van and views were wonderful. My mum and I stayed here last week for a week. Little end of year get away. We are doing a little parkdean challenge and trying to stay at as many sites as possible, Crimdon Dene was next on our list and it was perfect. Will definitely be back next year in the summer with all the family. We stayed in Van OVA9. Right by reception. Had parking next to the van and an amazing view over the north sea. Spent a few days chilling out on the decking tracking all the cargo ships out on the sea. Everyone was absolutely lovely. Chatted with loads of other guests on site, as well as the lovely staff. Liam who checked us in was lovely and Mike the sales manager too. The van was super clean, bright and spacious. The site was also super clean and bright. Had lunch one afternoon in the boathouse and it was also really tasty. The merchandise shop wasn't open, but a member of the team was still super helpful and got me what I needed, as I knew what it was I was looking for. Cannot wait to come back, during the summer months with the whole family amd show them how lovely Crimdon and Hartlepool is. Thank you for a wonderful week"

"Stayed on the Touring park for 4 nights. The pitches are small & the concrete pitch to park on is only just wide enough to put the motorhome or caravan on. This means you have to step out onto muddy grass. Wider hard standing would be beneficial. The site map doesn't show where the elsan point is & there was only 1. Didn't use the facilities as we use our own. The club house was warm & adequate. Drinks & food were rather pricey. Nice to be near the sea. The first steps to get to the beach we were told by a local lady not to use as they were dangerous."

"Last minute booking for a long weekend with the family. Caravan is beautiful. It's really warm and cosy and clean. Staff have been great helping with booking the swimming. Beautiful place to walk around. I've been coming here since I was a kid. Many lovely memories."

"A lot of kids are unattended so it's very loud nearly all day and evening as parents come and just then let them do whatever they wish, so we struggled every night to sleep. We came for a holiday but it was extremely loud. Swimming pool was a bit shocking we turned up early along with other family's stood waiting to go in an empty pool for 15 minutes till the guy said we could go in, he told off 1 of the kids for trying to go in early, the staff could of looked like they actually wanted to be there. No bottle opener was given so we had to open the majority of our drinks by the steps going into the caravan.. Very expensive all round would be better off going somewhere else for your money. However the caravan wasn't too bad the balcony view was lush, and the walk to the beach isn't far at all, but it wouldn't be enough to bring us back unfortunately"

"Poor experience and one i hope never happens again Review of Parkdean Resorts Crimdon Dene Holiday Park Pending reviewReviewed Definitely won’t be back here and i won’t ever be using Parkdean Resorts again. Paid well over £500 to stay here and we were really looking forward to it. Arrived on site to check in. Staff were actually really good and tried to help but the caravan we were given was awful! It was completely basic, despite what we booked. It also had a bad cigarette smell. Went back to the reception to tell the staff we weren’t happy and they tried to give us an upgrade. The caravan itself was an upgrade however the location was far from ideal and there was no privacy as you could see directly into the caravan once the curtains were opened. We had no access to park our car beside the caravan so we were having to leave it parked in a lay-by at the top of a grass hill with no other access to get to the caravan except going across the grass. Not ideal for us with us having a disabled adult with us who finds it difficult walking on uneven ground. Back to reception to inform them to be told that’s all they have unless we take a 2 bedroom instead of a 3 bedroom. Safe to say we weren’t happy with the outcome so we’ve ended up just heading back home to Scotland. Now we’ve been informed that we won’t get any money back, despite. They have stolen my son's money and we did not get offended to have a other holiday somewhere else with them I don't know how they sleep at night they should be a shamed my boys who have disability never got their money back"
