Reviews
"Rockley park Haven site was a perfect location for me to stay with our dogs. Caravans are clean and functional. We put covers on the furniture to protect them but the floors are hard floors so we can mop muddy paws easily. Plus they don’t charge extra as other holiday venues do. The area is perfect for us being close to Poole and Bournemouth."
"Booked a caravan for the weekend, which was really well equipped and clean. Major negative was thumping loud drum and bass type 'music' coming from the onsite bar, absolutely horrendous row - it started at 4.25pm and finished 7 hrs later. Shame on the site management - have you not considered that visitors may not want thump, thump, thump for hours on end - it's not Ibiza, it's a site for families and it really detracts from the enjoyment of what otherwise would be a very pleasant, tranquil site. Bottom line: unless you want a headache from noise pollution, don't bother visiting the park."
"This is a lovely site, very steep hills though, but a good location, easy to find. And some amazing places near by to see. Had a few small issues with caravan that could have been dealt with.. dirty crockery in cupboard, obviously previous tenants hadn't washed up properly...cooker was greasy.. saucepan handle fell off ,luckily was still cold water in it and not boiling...no hooks to hang wet towels on in shower room.. curtain pole hanging off wall in lounge. And you sink into the seating around the dining table making it impossible to eat a meal around it,need to hold arms up in the air to get to the plate. Not many bin areas for the amount of caravans there. We was tucked away down the bottom and in a corner.. the trains going past wasn't an issue, would have been nice if hedging had been trimmed down a little so that we could have seen the marina and trains without standing on tip toe and only in one bit.. was lovely seeing the squirrels every day and various birds as well as dragonflies. Slept absolutely perfectly, beds nice and comfy. Even with the few issues we'd still use this park again if wanting that area."
"Another great Haven holiday park. This is my favourite Haven park so far. Unbeatable value for money, top of the range caravans in an immaculately clean, quiet and well run, secure and friendly site. Lots of trees combined with the sea air make for a very clean air breathing experience. Road conditions are better than most places. So many things to do here and in the area that it would take months to view them all. We will be back soon."
"The greeter was lovely when we arrived and sent us straight to our van....the van was in a lovely location but on inspection it wasn't very clean, a lot of dust and grime about the bathroom and kitchen. The master bed dipped in the middle but with a bit of fast thinking, we sorted that and had wonderful restful sleeps. The laundrette is always having problems with machines, people clearly can't read and keep putting the temperature above 40 and puts the machine into fault mode....the ladies I dealt with at reception when I had to have some medication sent to the park were friendly and helpful. We had booked a table at the mash and barrel on our day of arrival as we had a very long drive down.... the food was OK but the service was terrible. The waitress was lovely, sweet and very kind but the food came before our drinks and we waited well over and hour for our drinks anyway. Apparently there was a big cue at the bar?? We only ordered cokes! We tried to go to entertainment but it's always fully packed as the park has about 1000 caravans here and no way near enough space for entertainment. The advanced booking of the pool is a stupid idea. You can book 14 sessions in a week and with the amount of people here at once, you can never get booked in unless you book 4 weeks in advance but then people wouldn't even turn up for their swim as they had gone out for the day instead. Thank God for the outdoor pool!! The bus service though, is brilliant and definitely worth it rather than taking the car out. Literally 2 stops from the caravan, there is a place called Hamworthy park, it's brilliant! Outdoor splash pool, park, cafe and beach. It's just the car park that let's it's down as not many spaces, that's why I'd suggest the bus."
