Fabled as King Arthur’s birthplace, Tintagel crowns this landscape of legend and magical scenery – the famous ruins are a must and the area bursts with National Trust properties and renowned beaches. Bude, 12 miles, unites family favourite Crooklets Beach with fabulous food and shops, while St Ives, Padstow and Port Isaac are all easily accessible. It's the perfect base to explore Tintagel and the wider area of North Cornwall.
