"Don't know where to start when I arrived and entered lodge there was a stain on the carpet after looking about the work top had was dreadful not hygienic cupboard door in kitchen hanging off patio doors not closing properly fan in bathroom not working and really dirty knife missing from knife holder light on mirror shade missing no Pat testing stickers on electrical appliances and much more things office on site not open told house keepers the next day which by the way they had there very young child with them and the guy was not wearing his top while cleaning lodges the maintenance guy came to fix cupboard door and he said the unit needs repaired this is a load of rubbish I am a maintenance manager and this can be fixed with a bracket that can be bought. Three days before going we were told they needed a £200 security deposit and it would be refunded in 7 to 10 days after leaving we have been left 3 weeks an no cumuninication and no £200 back this is a total rip off please think before booking ps they say they are luxury lodges ❓️❓️"

"We stayed in The Orchard 6 Bella Rose. Was a bit grubby, carpets need a good shampoo. Was absolutely stifling as the weather was really hot. I get it can be warm in June but they’d left a fan that didn’t work and when I complained after said I had never contacted them (my outbox proves otherwise). They also said the shower was fine yet my son was stood in two inches of water and it wouldn’t drain properly (again they called me a liar) and they don’t control the weather and they don’t have to provide a fan cause we’re self catering 🤷‍♀️ I’ve had issues before on this park so will never stay there again"

"We enjoyed it mind. But didn't feel as welcome as Allerthorpe!! We felt like it was the money they were after. And we noted a few problems we had, Mainly with the condition of the lodge, they stated that someone would come round. Only for the 'gentleman' to pop round for different reasons, to check the hot tub mainly. I asked if all was OK and I asked if he was here to address the issues we stated on email. He then stated, in an arrogant manor, we are busy, run off our feet and no I have no idea what your talking about!! So I showed him the curtain pole. He said I will get my drill. It was for only a two minute job to put it back up. (Who carries tools on them these days 🙄🙄especially on holidays) And throwing chlorine tablets on grass cannot be environmently friendly..!! But we enjoyed it. Just take some advice from Allerthorpe. That is the place to go if u want a nice break. As for all pros for a break. U feel more welcome, More wanted., And more like a guest. Instead of thinking of the money xx 35 the meadows ."

"Nice location, peaceful and serene. Enjoyed the hot tub and generally good facilities in the lodge, bluetooth speakers tv in all rooms sofa bed comfortable however could do with some general upkeep doors not attached fully and when reported where asked to fix ourselves and told it would not affect our deposit! I should hope not since it wasnt caused by us and paying 660 for 3 nights would expect better service than this. But overall a very pleasant experience"

"Absolutely amazing place lodge was luxury and massive big tele on wall could watch from the hot tub outside!!! Peaceful little retreat very well maintained site and lodge only downside was no shop or restaurant on site but shops not too far away and If your taking food the lodge was well equipped to make a good meal for all of the plus side it had a Wasing machine! Lodge was immaculate didn't want to leave pure blissful weekend would highly recommend and definitely return again"
