"Just came back from 2 day stay with 10-11 year olds special needs children. The staff go above and beyond to help and assist everyone, shout out to Kieron our kids loved him. The rooms were clean the food was amazing I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay beautiful scenery, great activities and amazing staff so welcoming xxxx"
"Blinking heck that was hard!!!! Hubby bought us the gold experience for my 60th after seeing the zip coaster on the Robson Green programme. That was a bit tiring as, after you'd been kitted out with harnesses and helmet you were encouraged to carry the buggy (think she called it that ! Anyway the thing that attached to the wire) up to the top. She would have carried it I'm sure if you'd asked but our party of 14 did their own. It was awkward and weighed about 8lb. Zip itself was great - sooo close to the trees and some big dips. Got 2 of those. Then the high ropes 😯 really hard. Climbed a ladder then rungs on the tree to get to start, then rigging together stage, then a wire and ropes hanging down and then something that was so hard I zipped it instead! Then 2 planks with a gap that you had to get over, some swing things and a branch to balance over. You got down by stepping off with pulley attached - see video for my graceful dismount 🤣🤣 3 people didn't do this for various reasons and 1 man said the 1 zip was enough and no way doing another! The laser shot gun was great- I beat hubby convincingly 🎖 there was the option of a climbing wall too but we were too knackered to do it! Staff helpful and encouraging. Easy to find with limited amenities."
"Amazing place to go and be others who have similar problems and talk about solutions and activities for everyone that challenges you mentally and physically. I will no doubt be back again ❤️"
"It has a lot of activities and events. Also a great place to visit as well as meeting new people to discuss with. Zip Wire, Abseiling, Archery, Buggying around the forest and visiting the cafe surrounded by the lake, car park, picnic benches, toilets, restaurant, birds, weather conditions was light rain but no strong winds just mild, sunny and calm."
"Fabulous facilities for the disabled or able bodied. We went as a family of four with two young boys one of whom is in a wheelchair. The lodge was huge, clean and well equiped. The surroundings and facilities were exellent. Peace and quiet, but plenty to do and see locally, we loved the rabbits running freely in the grounds, and it was great to sit and relax next to the babbling brook with bird song all around - we would go again!"
