"What a fantastic place with amazing views over Hele Bay! Perfectly located for exploring locally but also for sitting on the patio watching the world below. The rooms had everything we needed and all staff were friendly and approachable. I can’t recommend Beach Cove Coastal Retreat enough!"
"The location is amazing, just a 5 minute drive from the main town of Ilfracombe which has beaches and harbor and main shopping street! Also the view is absolutely beautiful of the beach from the chalet. There is a spar walking distance like a few minutes away. The hot tub is lovely and hot and we really enjoyed the hot tub! The only down side I guess is that I can't say the chalet is 5* as there were marks on some of the walls, sofa had marks on it too. The kitchen is small but fine to use. We never ate out and there's plenty of room for all our food etc. The bathroom is really really tiny and the bedroom just has room for the bed in it and that's it so it's a bit of a squeeze. The living area has adequate room. It could have been cleaned a bit better but it was 'ok' and the decor had seen better days as the bathroom sink was cracked and some furniture was peeling paint but on the whole it was ok. You get what you pay for really but for 4 nights it was fine and we did enjoy staying here especially because of the view. We would come back but not stay in a small chalet, we may upgrade to somewhere but bigger. It was 'ok' but could do with a refurbishment. If you're not too fussed about the chalet then it's fine to stay in."
"Having the best time with our dog 🐕...the place is so clean, so cosy and beautiful 😍...the customer service is outstanding where nothing is any trouble....we had a hot tub with our lodge which was incredible 😀 😍 ❤️ can't wait to come again x"
"Lovely place to stay, lovely people including the chap that looks after the hot tub. Cleanliness was our only problem with cutlery looking like it had just been used and put in the drawer, without seeing a tap let alone washing up liquid. Only other minor complaint is that the lodges get light as soon as the sun comes up, so if you like the dark until you wake, take an eye mask. If you like waking when the sun comes up, then ideal."
"Great location right on top of beach front. Great to wake up in morning to the sound of the waves hitting the beach. Very clean accommodation that is ideal for a couples get away - hot tub overlooking the sea is great. Cliff top coastal path into Ilfracombe is worth the walk to see the great views."
