Reviews
"We stayed in a lodge with a hot tub for one night as we had an early morning booking at the nearby Zip World the next day. Great location for getting to Zip World. The park is beautiful and we had a lovely meal in the on-site restaurant although it is more like a restaurant and not somewhere to just sit and have a drink, not much atmosphere either. Nitpicking would be that we thought the hot tub could do with some privacy screens or something, you’re very much in view of neighbouring lodges and our lodge’s paintwork/decor looked very tired, was scratched and peeling everywhere. No hooks anywhere for towels or coats to hang and no sockets by the bed or bedside tables for your stuff at night. We’d also received a Welcome email saying; “We do not supply spare towels, tea towels, oven gloves, bath mats, toiletries or washing up liquid,” so came prepared only to find that they were supplied. Glad that they were supplied though as we thought this would be poor to not supply the basics. Overall was a really lovely stay and would definitely return."
"The lodge was that clean at the bottom of the park.the decking fence was broken in places the gate does not shut probably able to push the fence. Hot tub was good and warm but very very strong smell of chlorine ended up with chlorine burns"
"We stayed in a studio pod with a hot tub. Staff were friendly and helpful, the accommodation although small was well laid out and clean. After a busy day exploring it was lovely to relax in the hot tub watching the stars and bats swoop over head."
"The park itself is in an amazing setting, along the river bank and nestled in the forest. The Lodge we stayed in was beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable and with all the facilities you would expect at home, a decent kitchen, great shower, smart TV and even a hot tub. There are walks starting from the park and the scenery is fantastic. The park is location just outside the small town of Bethesda where you will find convenience stores, pubs, cafes and takeaways. The area is very underrated and much quieter than Betws-y-Coed but equally as good. I would definitely recommend the park for a romantic getaway, a break from the hustle and bustle of life or as a base for adventures in snowdonia as its very close to the glyderau and carneddau. If that's not enough adventure there is also zip world on your doorstep."
"Heaven on earth this is the most beautiful place we have stayed in. The Lodge is beautiful the hot tub is amazing. The grounds are beautiful. Zip world is just 5 min walk. I recommend here to stay. Also lovely local walks. Staff a wonderful. They do an amazing job. Thankyou"
"A perfect place to stay in north Wales. The proximity to several landmarks/attractions makes Ogwen Bank Country Park an ideal place to stay. The staff on site were a credit to the surroundings, their attitude and helpfulness made the whole experience enjoyable. The on site club house is excellent, and the staff were yet again very helpful. The food was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. A return visit will definitely be happening in the future!"
